Removable Mesh Screens and Cartridges

A removable straining element is a basic part of any strainer. It is a mesh screen or cartridge that removes and retains solid particles from flowing fluid. Depending on the operating media and the size of the particles, mesh screens have different sized perforations (from 0.2 mm and up). Hole size is determined at the time of order. Mesh screens and cartridges can have different shapes. A hollow cylinder is the most common variant. Recently cone mesh is being used more often. Straining elements are mostly constructed of stainless steel (steel grades 12Х18Н10Т, CF, CF8M, AISI 304, AISI 316). Their design allows for replacement in case of clogging up or damage.
