Knife gate valves with through knife of PA 510 series
PA 510 series double-acting knife gate valve with through conduit knife is designed for media with a high concentration of solids. Body made of cast iron or various steel grades consists of two halves machined with high precision.
Main applications of PA 510 series knife gate valves:
- transportation of liquids with a suspended solids content of up to 20%.
- transportation of pulp and ground wood, alcoholic beverages, powders, ash and highly concentrated sludge.
Can also be used for gravity feed of solid and powdery substances, because the gate cutting edge allows cutting off high density flows.
A special gate design eliminates possibility of deposits on the sealing surface.
