Swing Check Valves

A swing check valve is a type of check valve in which the disk rotates around the axis perpendicular to the piping run. Typically, they are installed right after the pump unit to protect it from hydraulic shock. Swing check valves are more common than other types of check valves. They have a diameter up to 2,200 mm and are designed to withstand pressure up to 400 kgf/cm2. Depending on operation parameters (media, operating and environment temperatures), different materials are employed for the manufacture of the valve body: steel, cast iron, stainless steel, nonmetal, titanium, brass and bronze. Swing check valves are constructed with 5 different types of end connections: flanged, union, compression end, welded and wafer type.
PromArm supplies swing check valves with valve bodies and end connections manufactured in accordance with Russian and international quality standards (GOST, API, ANSI, ISO, etc.).
