Check Valves for Agressive Media

Check valves intended for use in aggressive chemical compositions are distinguished as a separate type of check valve. The inner side of such valves is covered with a specific material that does not react with the operating media. Materials commonly used for that purpose are PPGF, PVDF Solef, Teflon PFA. To select the proper material you need to know the precise operating temperature and the type and concentration of pollutants. The valve body can be constructed of cast iron (GG25/40), carbon or stainless steel (for example, AISI 304/316, CF8/CF8M).
Check valves are divided into two types depending on the disk form: 1) piston check valves and 2) butterfly check valves. The choice of the subtype depends on the media contamination level. Check valves for aggressive media are highly specialized for their use.
